Orlando Photographer Earns Master of Photography Degree

Rich Johnson of Spectacle Photo recognized for superior image making and photographic service

Orlando, FL — Rich Johnson of Spectacle Photo in Orlando has earned the Master of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree was presented to Johnson by PPA President Mark Campbell, M.Photog.Hon.M.Photog.Cr., CPP, API, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, held in Nashville, Tennessee, in January 2026.

The Master of Photography degree is an achievement of the highest caliber. It signifies that Johnson has met the standards of excellence set by PPA. He has been awarded this degree in recognition of his superior photographic aptitude, demonstrated through image excellence, advanced education, and service to the photographic profession.

Rich Johnson is the founder of Spectacle Photo, a full-service photography and video production studio based in Orlando, Florida. With more than twenty years of professional experience, Johnson specializes in commercial, entertainment, and event photography. His work has been recognized nationally and internationally, and he has received two Emmy Awards for his contributions to visual storytelling. In addition to his work behind the camera, Johnson actively contributes to the photography community through education, mentorship, and leadership as President of the Professional Photographers of Central Florida (PPCF).

Orlando, FL — Rich Johnson of Spectacle Photo in Orlando has earned the Photographic Craftsman degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree will be presented to Johnson by PPA President Makayla Jade Harris, Cr.Photog., CPP, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, in February 2027.

The Photographic Craftsman degree is an achievement of the highest caliber. It signifies that Johnson has met the rigorous standards of excellence set by PPA. He has been awarded the Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of his service to the photographic profession as an educator, speaker, and mentor, contributing to the growth and advancement of fellow photographers.
