Rich Johnson of Spectacle Photo recognized for helping to advance the photography industry

Orlando, FL — Rich Johnson of Spectacle Photo in Orlando has earned the Photographic Craftsman degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree will be presented to Johnson by PPA President Makayla Jade Harris, Cr.Photog., CPP, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, in February 2027.

The Photographic Craftsman degree is an achievement of the highest caliber. It signifies that Johnson has met the rigorous standards of excellence set by PPA. He has been awarded the Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of his service to the photographic profession as an educator, speaker, and mentor, contributing to the growth and advancement of fellow photographers.

Johnson’s degree—and the expertise it represents—illustrates his accomplishments and talent as one of a select group of professionals dedicated not only to creating powerful imagery but also to elevating the industry through education and leadership.

Rich Johnson is the founder of Spectacle Photo, a full-service photography and video production studio based in Orlando, Florida. With more than two decades of experience behind the camera, Johnson has built a reputation for creating dynamic imagery for commercial brands, entertainers, athletes, and events across the country. His work has earned numerous industry honors, including two Emmy Awards, and he currently serves as President of the Professional Photographers of Central Florida (PPCF). Johnson is passionate about mentoring other photographers and helping creative professionals develop both their artistic voice and their businesses.
